The 357th Anniversary of the King's execution took place on Monday 30th January from 2 pm for 2:30 pm in the King Charles I Room, Kidderminster Town Hall, hosted by President David Slater.
This event was slightly different from previous years, as the area of Kidderminster Town Hall that houses the Association's memorial plaque was closed for painting and decoration.
Association President David Slater, therefore, laid the commemorative wreath beneath the King's portrait in the King Charles Room on Monday 30th January 2006.
The ceremony was led by the Rev Canon Owain Bell, Vicar of the St Mary's and All Saints Church, Kidderminster.
The turnout wasn't quite as good as last year's, but a dozen or so of us were there and were invited to light refreshments by the Town Mayor, Cllr Peter Dyke.
