The annual Choral Evensong to commemorate Charles, King and Martyr, took place on Sunday 13th February from 6:30 pm at St Mary's and All Saints' Church, Kidderminster, hosted by President Joe Kerrigan.
In the early rain-swept evening of Sunday 13th February, a small collection of Old Carolians and their wives attended a choral Evensong at St Mary's and All Saints Church, commemorating the death of Charles I on 30th January 1649.
As in previous years, Canon Owain Bell, Vicar of St Mary's and All Saints' Church, led the service, which was held in the awe-inspiring Whittall Chapel. David Morgan, Director of Music at the Church, played the organ and led the choir.
The lessons were read by Tim Gulliver, Headteacher at King Charles I School, and by Association President Joe Kerrigan.
