The annual Autumn Event, this year a quiz, took place on Saturday 22nd October from 7 pm for 7:30 pm at Chester Road Sports and Social Club, hosted by President Joe Kerrigan.
More than eighty people joined in the fun as Joe, ably assisted by his wife, Gail, severely taxed their brains with questions ranging from the identification of Irish and Australian rugby players, snatches of film dialogue, and culinary delights.
The half-time interval was taken up by consumption of a delicious fish and chip supper, and the winning team, 'The Robins', was presented with a splendid trophy provided by Joe. The whole evening was a great success and was thoroughly enjoyed by all those that were there.
