The annual Summer Event, this year a barbecue, took place on Saturday 18th June from 6:30 pm for 7 pm under the canopy between the Blounts and Old School buildings, King Charles I School, hosted by President Martin Wall.
Our President, Martin Wall, had invited our very good friends from the Kidderminster High School for Girls Old Girls Association and from the Hartlebury Old Elizabethans' Association to join us.
The menu included chicken breasts, chops, burgers and sausages, cooked by the Association's established 'bake off' team of chefs Peter Picken and Dave Laverty. There was also a selection of salads prepared by members of the Committee and their spouses and, of course, plenty of fresh crusty bread all finished off with a selection of mouth-watering puddings graciously provided by the School's Old Girls.
There was a raffle, for which donations of prizes were gladly accepted.
