Sports clubs' representatives while such positions were maintained

From its beginning, the Association had strong sporting ties; regrettably, these have diminished in recent years. The main focuses have traditionally been rugby football and cricket; indeed, the two main bases for those disciplines in Kidderminster, namely Kidderminster Carolians R.F.C., off Marlpool Lane, and Chester Road Sports & Social Club, off Chester Road North, respectively, and especially the latter, continue to be linked to the Association by providing function venues. For many years, 'Sports Clubs' representatives' – eventually, this became one 'Cricket Club representative' – were listed alongside the Association's Officers and Committee Members; however, the roles seem to have been mostly ancilliary rather than necessarily with voting rights, but might have occasionally involved co-opted membership, particularly in the early days. The Old Carolians Sports & Social Club was located in Church Street, but it had been centred in Worcester before the Kidderminster branch was established; it was itself a successor to the Kidderminster Club & Institute.
