Lapel badge

Discreet (about half an inch high), but easily recognised by fellow members, and suitable for both lady and gentleman Old Carolians.  New members are sent one for nothing by the Membership Secretary when confirming enrolment; however, replacement and additional units cost £1.50.

Official tie

This old favourite's as popular as ever, and, at £10, it's a bargain.  It's of a more modern style than those previously offered, and it's intended to be worn at formal Association events, such as the King's Anniversary, Annual General Meeting, Remembrance Service and Annual Dinner, and when representing the Association, or wishing membership to be recognised, at other formal, but non-Association, events, such as Founder's Day and 'Celebration of Achievement' Evening (previously Speech Day).

Social tie

Discontinued in 2004 when stocks ran out, this design was brought back by popular demand, and it's excellent value at £10.  It's in addition to, not a replacement for, the official tie, and it's intended for use in less formal situations than where the official tie would normally be worn, such as the Summer and Autumn Events, and the Committee Supper.

Bow tie

Equally a perennial favourite, this comes pre-tied for members' convenience, and can be worn as a direct replacement for the official tie.  It's slightly cheaper than the straight ties, costing £8.50.

Archives' DVDs

There are two editions: 'Carolian and Old Carolian Archives Magazines from 1886 to 2023' and 'Carolian Photo Archives from the 16th Century to the present day'; both were compiled by our Magazine Editor (and current President), Norman Broadfield.  Each costs £10, and must be purchased via Norman himself; any messages to the Association in this regard get forwarded to him.
