Very sadly, we have to announce that Ken Garbett died on Thursday 22nd June following a stroke he suffered several weeks before.

Ken was President of the Old Carolians Association in 1998–1999 and proved to be an invaluable member of the Committee in every year since then. He was active in all areas, making great contributions to the Annual Dinner, the Summer Event barbecues and every other social gathering. His record at attending Committee meetings and Annual General Meetings was exemplary and he was always prepared to help in any way that was required.
Outside the Association, he was active with the Rotary Club and the Kidderminster–Husum Twinning Association, and was a Vice-President of Kidderminster Cricket Club.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Ken's funeral was held at the Wyre Forest Crematorium on Wednesday 5th July 2017.
