2026 Annual Dinner

The 116th Annual Dinner will take place on Saturday 21st November from 6:30 pm for 7:30 pm until 11:30 pm in the Oldfield Hall, King Charles I School, hosted by prospective President Nigel Geary.

Tickets cost £31.50 each, and are available to Association members and those eligible for membership; please consult membership@oldcarolians.org.uk if unsure.  In addition to a starter, main course and pudding, cheese and biscuits plus tea and coffee will be served.  Application forms were included with “The Old Carolian”, a copy of this year’s edition you should have received by no later than, we trust, the end of October.  You may find it easier to book by clicking on the ‘Get Tickets’ link below. Or we are also happy for you to email membership@oldcarolians.org.uk and pay by bank transfer using the banking details here, please include you name, school leaving year plus full names of guests and menu choices and any specific dietary requirements including allergies.

Once you have purchased your tickets please email membership@oldcarolians.org.uk and advise any menu choices for all members of your party.

Applications will be accepted until 5 pm on Friday 13th November or until all places are allocated, whichever is the sooner.

• Individual places will not be set, but there will be a semi-formal seating plan to group those of similar ages; therefore, please ensure when booking that you provide the year(s) in which you (and your fellow guests, if doing a group booking) started at the School.  In a break with recent tradition, the tables may well be arranged as ‘islands’ this year.
• The dress code is evening wear for ladies, and lounge suit and tie, or dinner jacket, for gentlemen.
• The entrance will be along the outside of the Renwick building (with the pond on your right), and through the double doors at the bottom of the steps that link the Renwick building corridor with the Oldfield Hall.
• No classrooms will be open for storing personal effects, and so please use the tuck shop, opposite the double doors into the Hall.
• There will be no bar service, and so please bring your own refreshments; a selection of glasses will be provided, though.
